We are looking for an organised and service-driven Hire Desk Controller to join our team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth running of our hire operations. You will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, coordinating equipment bookings and deliveries, and maintaining accurate hire records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer hire enquiries via phone, email, and in person
  • Advise on equipment availability, pricing, and delivery options
  • Process hire contracts, orders, and returns using the internal system
  • Coordinate with transport and workshop teams to schedule deliveries and collections
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers
  • Monitor ongoing hires and off-hire notifications
  • Address customer queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
  • Ensure administrative records are accurate and up to date
  • Support the wider team with general office and operational duties
