These terms and conditions govern the use of the Quirky Hire website and the hire of equipment from us. By accessing our website and making a hire, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our website or services.

Rental Agreement  

By confirming a hire with Quirky Hire, you enter into a rental agreement for the specified equipment. You agree to use the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and for its intended purpose. The hire period will begin on the agreed delivery date and end on the collection date, as stated in the hire agreement.

Booking and Payment  

To secure equipment, a booking must be made through our website, over the phone, or via email. Payment for the hire must be made in full at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed. We accept payment by credit or debit card. All payments are processed securely.

Equipment Delivery and Collection  

We offer delivery and collection services for all hire equipment. The delivery date and collection time will be agreed upon at the time of booking. You are responsible for ensuring that there is suitable access for delivery and collection of the equipment. Any additional charges for failed deliveries or collections due to access issues may apply.

Equipment Care and Use  

You agree to take reasonable care of the hired equipment and ensure it is used in a safe and proper manner. You are responsible for any damage or loss to the equipment during the hire period, except for normal wear and tear. If the equipment is returned damaged, we reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacement costs.

Cancellations and Refunds  

If you wish to cancel or modify your booking, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the delivery date may be eligible for a full refund, subject to a cancellation fee. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before delivery may result in a partial or no refund, depending on the circumstances.

Late Returns  

If the equipment is not returned by the agreed collection date, additional charges may apply for each day the equipment is overdue. You are responsible for ensuring the equipment is available for collection at the scheduled time.

Liability and Insurance  

Quirky Hire is not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred due to the use of the hired equipment. It is your responsibility to ensure that the equipment is used by trained and competent individuals. We recommend you have appropriate insurance coverage for the duration of the hire.

Privacy and Data Protection  

Your personal information is collected and used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to the collection and use of your personal data for the purpose of processing your booking and fulfilling the rental agreement.

Indemnity  

You agree to indemnify Quirky Hire and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your use of the hired equipment, including any failure to comply with these terms and conditions.

Governing Law  

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

Changes to Terms and Conditions  

We reserve the right to update or change these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page, with the revised date. Please review this page periodically for any updates.
